About Us

Greetings!

I’m Brian (Thomas) , one-half of the creative duo behind Leigh & Thomas. The other half is my wife, Kristen, aka Leigh.

My passion for photography goes way back to my high school days—a time that feels like ancient history now. In 10th grade, Steel Valley High School introduced a groundbreaking course in visual communications, complete with film cameras and a darkroom. It was a revelation! Taught by the fantastic Mr. Emro, a recent college graduate, the class sparked my love for the art form. I continued taking the course throughout my high school years, contributing to various projects from documentation to the yearbook.

After graduation, practicality led me to pursue post-secondary education in computer information sciences, a field that served me well for many years.

Fast forward to 2020, a year that brought unexpected downtime. With a surplus of time on my hands, I dusted off my camera and began experimenting and rekindling my passion for photography.

At that time, my subject options were limited to the confines of my home—cue the lightbulb moment! I delved into different exposure techniques and compositions, and before I knew it, my experimentation had evolved into my very own real estate media company.

Oh, and let’s not forget the real powerhouse behind Leigh & Thomas—my amazing wife, Kristen.  She claims she does most of the “important stuff,” and I won’t argue with her because, let’s face it, she’s the real boss. I just click the buttons and pretend to know what I’m doing with the camera. Kristen keeps everything running smoothly, and I like to think she adds a touch of organized chaos to our creative endeavors. It’s a good thing someone around here knows what’s going on!
